Real Heiress: Flash Marriage With Boyfriend's Uncle

Chapter 364: To protect Lucius?

Sylvia woke up late in the morning, a dull throbbing ache pulsing at her temples. She groaned softly, pressing her fingers to her forehead as last night’s conversation with Luca resurfaced in her mind.

"He talks better than most people around me. I should really work on myself," she murmured, swinging her legs over the edge of the bed.

Pushing herself up, she padded toward the bathroom and stepped into a warm shower, letting the soothing water ease the lingering fatigue. By the time she emerged, she felt a little more refreshed.

Dressed in comfortable clothes, Sylvia headed to the kitchen and prepared a light breakfast. As she ate, she absentmindedly checked her phone, her eyes scanning through a series of unread messages from her friends in the U.S. A small smile tugged at her lips as she began replying to them one by one. Once done, she set the phone aside, focusing on her meal.

After finishing, she cleared the dishes, rinsing them under warm water before wiping down the countertops. The rhythmic task felt almost meditative.

Deciding to make the most of her morning, she moved on to tidying up the rest of the house, sweeping and dusting until everything was in order.

Finally, with a satisfied sigh, she sank into a chair, stretching out her legs. A sense of calm washed over her as she allowed herself a moment to simply relax while carrying her MacBook.

As Sylvia reviewed her last business plan, a wave of realization hit her—she had delayed everything far longer than she intended. Frustration flickered in her eyes, but she quickly pushed it aside, determined to get back on track.

Grabbing a notepad, she meticulously drafted a report, listing down key points and the individuals she needed to consult before officially launching her venture.
