Chapter 294: Bring Aiden to Russia
Aiden stepped out the car as he arrived in the town of the city, which usually commoners would avoid. He called Roger right away, waiting for him to pick up the call.
"I’m outside the workshop’s address you have sent. Where are you?" Aiden asked.
However, no response came from the other end.
"Roger? Can you not hear me?" Aiden asked again. When he didn’t get any reply, he hung up the call and dialed Roger’s number again.
As he turned around a man with black mask hit Aiden’s hard with an iron bat in his hand. The phone from Aiden’s hand fell to the ground and he turned numb for a moment. The blood trickled down his forehead and the next second, he fell to the ground.
The man in the black mask grabbed Aiden’s phone and checked the numbers in the list. As he spotted Lucius’s number, he took a screenshot of it and put the phone back into his pocket after deleting the call and message from it. Taking out his own phone, the man called someone.
"Boss, the work is done. Should I kill him?"
"No. Bring Aiden to Russia." The call disconnected.
The man tucked the phone back into his pocket and carried Aiden’s body on his one shoulder and took him to his jeep. Throwing him on the backseat, he drove the car away from that spot.

Lucius and Layla arrived home. As they have settled down to relax, Lucius’s phone buzzed. He looked at the caller ID and realized the number was not from Italy. A suspicion grew inside him and he answered the call.
