Chapter 253: Act like a teenager
Lucius and Roger arrived in the local police station of Naples, where Sylvia was present. As they stepped out of their car, Lucius’s eyes fell upon Sylvia’s car, which had many scratches and even the side mirror of it was broken. He furrowed his brows together, wondering what Sylvia brought upon herself.
Walking inside, they spotted Sylvia seated on the bench quietly.
She lifted her head when she saw two men stopping right in front of her.
"Lucius!" Sylvia exclaimed in joy and quickly rose to her feet. Without waiting for a response from him, she hugged him. Her thundering heart finally getting to its normal pace.
Lucius placed his hands on her shoulders and pushed her away gently. He scanned his eyes on her face, making she got no injuries and then examined her hands.
"I am fine. I got no injury," Sylvia replied.
"Mr. De Salvo, this is station head, Leone Petrov."
Lucius turned to look at him and shook his hands with him. "Thank you for helping out," he expressed his gratitude.
"I did my duty, nothing more," Leone said with a smile and the two men withdrew their hands. "Miss Mancini should go to Rome then. However, I will again advise her to tell me who was chasing her," he suggested.
Lucius glanced at Sylvia, already knowing she would not share it with the cop.
"Thank you, Officer, but I’d like to go home," Sylvia said.
