I touched my crescent moon shaped earring as I watched Amber lying unconscious on top of the glass case Illaris was kept in .
I sensed no danger
The mark I had left on her would have reacted if she was in danger. I looked back at the temple messenger and he immediately panicked.
"WE didn’t do anything!!! I promise. I have no idea what happened!"
"And if I find out that you people did do something-"
"We didn’t!" He was going pale, "You’ve already threaten- I mean, told us enough. We wouldn’t bother your saint!" He clasped his hands together, "I promise we didn’t do anything. I have no clue what happened here."
I looked at her again.
She looks like she’s in a sleep state. I placed my hand on her head. But something seems out of place.
I took her in my arms, then stepped away from the glass case. I’ll take her back to the Tower and have the archmages look at her.
