Chapter 101: Quiet dilemma

By the five minutes mark, she had already laid everything that was business related in front of Silas.
"I shall arrange a meeting with the head of the wolf folk. The spring equinox banquet will be held in the caverns as is tradition. I will personally see to it," Silas offered her a graceful nod.
"Thank you, dear. That beast answers to nothing but brute force. Though I have a feeling he will think twice before committing the irreparable when up against you of all people," she chuckled.
"Let us hope it does not come to that,"
From time to time, since the beginning of their conversation, and especially after the young fairies had snatched Arabella away, Silas would throw glances behind himself. As discreet as they were, they did not escape Liriel’s sharp observation.
"Concerned, are we?" she smirked, "Worry not, she is in good hands. Even the most air headed of them knows how to steer clear of trouble,"
