Chapter 224 - 219: The Second Daughter Born Out of Wedlock
"Teacher Zhang, I want to board at school." After class, Ye Qiu went directly to the teacher’s office and found her homeroom teacher, Zhang Yinghua.
Zhang Yinghua put down her pen from grading homework and seriously asked the delicate and well-behaved student in front of her, "Can you tell the teacher why?"
"It’s not possible for me to study properly at home, it’s better to board at school."
Zhang Yinghua, a serious and responsible teacher, had reviewed Ye Qiu’s file and naturally knew that Ye Xia, the beauty of the school in senior year, was her older sister. Yet, Ye Xia had never been seen attending to Ye Qiu like this in their junior year, and no one in the entire school even knew the real relationship between Ye Qiu and Ye Xia.
Ye Xia had moved up to First High School from elementary to middle school, while as far as she knew, Ye Qiu had transferred in from the countryside during the second semester of her freshman year. Ye Xia was skilled in both dance and piano; Ye Qiu, however, had always been unknown, leading Zhang Meiyin to surmise that Ye Family might treat the two sisters quite differently.
A child’s rebellious phase is not solely because of her own, but more so due to family, hence when Ye Qiu said she couldn’t study properly at home, Zhang Meiyin completely believed her and supported her decision to stay at the school.
However, the necessary procedures still had to be followed, Zhang Meiyin told Ye Qiu: "As long as your parent comes to the school to sign, you can move into the dormitory next week."
"Thank you, teacher, I understand." Ye Qiu bowed to the homeroom teacher, her serious little face making her look even more well-mannered and sensible.
