"Old Hua, long time no see. What goods have you brought back this time?" In a shady trading post at a dirty street corner on Rebellion Star, Big Beard called out loudly while drinking a strong liquor.
"Take a look, quite a beauty, isn’t she?" Old Hua moved aside, revealing Qin Shu who was tied up behind him.
"Yo!" Big Beard’s eyes lit up, "Nice piece of merchandise. What, are you starting to get into this business too?"
"Someone offered a good price. This girl has some backing, make sure she doesn’t escape," Old Hua explained to him in detail.
Waving his hand nonchalantly, Big Beard said, "Hey, once they’re in my place, I’m not afraid of them turning the world upside down. Even if she were the president’s daughter, she couldn’t flip out of the palm of my hand."
Naturally, Old Hua knew of Big Beard’s capabilities and said nothing more, taking the hefty reward and leaving without looking back.
Even though Qin Shu was bound, her consciousness was clear. Seeing Big Beard’s ill-intended smile, she struggled in fear, but unfortunately, her mouth was gagged, making it impossible to call for help—not that it would make any difference here.
