Before dinner, he finally arrived at Lottie’s villa entrance.
Seeing Hunter Warren again here, Lottie was somewhat incredulous, her eyes brimming with tears.
Hunter forced a smile: "I haven’t eaten yet, won’t you invite me in for a meal?"
Lottie paused for a moment, then quickly stepped forward to open the door: "You... why are you here?"
"Faye said the noodles you make are delicious. I came to have a bowl before I head back."
As he spoke, he was already walking inside.
Lottie hurriedly followed him in. Once in the living room, she pointed to the sofa: "You sit, I’ll go make you some noodles right away. What flavor do you like?"
"What flavor did I like when I was a kid?" he asked sincerely, looking at her.
Lottie’s eyes welled up, and she forced a sad smile: "Tomato and egg noodles."
"Then make that," he said.
Lottie nodded, turned, and went into the kitchen. She took a deep breath, wiped the tears from her cheeks, tied on an apron, and started cooking the noodles.
Hunter sat on the sofa, looking back at the kitchen.
