Faye Townsend didn’t move nor respond. Owen Lennon seemed indifferent, patting her on the shoulder, "Let’s go."
She withdrew her gaze and left the bar with Owen Lennon.
After arranging for a driver, Owen Lennon headed back first.
Faye sat in the back seat of the car, her eyes somewhat deep in thought.
After the driver got in the car, she asked him not to start driving yet.
After a little hesitation, she found Xavier’s number and dialed it. Once the call connected, Xavier puzzledly asked, "Is it Faye?"
"Yes, it’s me, Director Xavier."
"What a surprise, why would you call me?"
Evidently, Xavier was quite shocked, as he usually didn’t have personal interactions with Faye.
"Do you know how Oliver is doing lately?"
"Why did you suddenly become concerned about him? Aren’t you supposed to be happily married and have long forgotten who Oliver Turner is?"
