Hovering in the skies above the battlefield, Igaris stood calmly, crimson cape fluttering, and the Federation’s banners rippling behind him. A sea of Mechas extended across the plains like a mechanical tide, while overhead, battleships hummed with weapons locked and primed.
The pressure of his aura pressed down on the world like a falling star.
From the opposite side, atop a towering Summoner Beast, Nina stared up with wide, uncertain eyes.
"Ma-Master... that’s really him? Igaris?" she asked, her voice shaking. "But... why is he standing with the Federation? They’ve been slaughtering Summoners for years..."
Master Leon’s jaw tightened.
"I don’t know. We all believed he died during the invasion..." Leon’s gaze stayed locked on the man in the sky. "But now he has reappeared... not just alive, but as the Supreme General of the Federation."
The battlefield trembled slightly as the giant Mechas began marching in unison behind Igaris. Even the clouds parted around him, as if nature dared not veil his presence.
Nina clutched her hand tightly.
"Then... he’s our enemy? A traitor?"
Leon remained silent for a long moment. The winds howled between them. Then, slowly, he shook his head.
"That... I can’t say. The Igaris I once knew had a heart deeper than any of us. A man willing to bleed for peace. But now, the strength he displays, the eyes he carries—those belong to someone who has seen something... beyond mortals."
He glanced toward Nina.
