Chapter 105: Making Preparation
The Dungeon known as Martial Sanctuary was unlike any other. Its entrance took the form of an ancient Chinese temple, complete with curved roofs and intricate wooden architecture. Above the gate hung a wooden sign engraved with the symbol of Taichi, the classic Yin-Yang pattern that shimmered faintly under the sunlight.
This was it. The gateway to the Martial Sanctuary, the world where his next objective awaited.
However, today was not the day to enter. He had come only to observe. He needed to understand the layout, the defenses, and most importantly, find a safe method to get inside without revealing himself.
The entrance was heavily guarded. Five individuals stood on alert. Three men and two women. All dressed in red uniforms marked with the crest of the Skadi Empire across their chests.
Each of them gave off a fierce presence. Judging by their aura, they were all at least Champion Rank or higher. They weren’t the threat to him, but they could be secretly backed by powerful forces.
He studied them carefully. Charging through would be really risky. Using his real identity was equally impossible. After all that had happened, it was far too dangerous to expose himself openly.
He needed another approach.
If he wanted to step into the Martial Sanctuary, he would have to do it silently.
Without a trace.
Then his gaze fell on a group of people entering the Dungeon. Some moved alone, but most traveled in tight-knit teams.
He narrowed his eyes thoughtfully. The world inside the Dungeon was vast. So how did these people manage to find each other so easily once they were inside?
