Chapter 118: Horde Of Crimson Knights 1
Since Vladislaus has finally awakened and Kaiju was able to store another treasure to be used for the secret technique later, he had decided to enter Vladislaus’ castle.
Kaiju would rather call it castle than burg due to its grandiose, classical appearance. Furthermore, the very fact it appeared old suited for the owner of the castle, a vampire.
Despite the advance technology, Kaiju could only watch movies at school, and he was able to watch a movie made prior to the appearance of Tower. Just sauntering in the hallway made him feel like an actor in the movie, and he couldn’t help but act like it. Snow and Little Gorilla gave him strange gazes but Kaiju ignored them anyway.
Kaiju enjoyed his leisure walk, even though the cobweb and insects crawling at every nook and crook–unable to be undetected with Kaiju’s night vision–made the place creepy, nevertheless, Kaiju enjoyed every moment of it.
Of course, it would not always last. Another Crimson Knight appeared and as he was about to kill it an in an instant, the Crimson Knight grinned and another appeared... until they seemed to be endless.
Kaiju was stunned. How many Crimson Knights are there?! Are these supposed to face the higher races? So, them being asked by the Tower to cooperate to fight against Vladislaus made a lot of sense! At first, Kaiju thought that the Tower asked the higher races to cooperate with each other to fight Vladislaus alone.
However, he was wronged, the Hellish Difficulty deserved its reputation of the most difficult trial after this discovery.
Nevertheless, Kaiju did not falter. On the contrary, he was brimming with excitement. He could finally integrate the effects and magic skills he barely used on the battler prior. He needed lots and lots of experience to make up for his mistakes.
After all, he realized that even his battle style seemed to have been repetitive, as though he was following a single linear battle style–same order of magic skills and effects. He knew he should avoid repeating it, as life and death battle in the future, the present, and the past always differed depending on the circumstances.
