Chapter 94: Surprising the Higher Races
The rest were easy to take care of, Kaiju and Snow worked hard together to annihilate the infernal race in an instant. Kaiju even had a difficult time believing he instantly killed the violet infernal. He did not even condensed his shadow mana, perceiving it would be nullified by Faith’s light magic attack.
While he was at it, he took the chance to gauge Faith’s power and was surprised it was almost the same level of the Luminari. Do humans always have this potential? I thought we were being overshadowed by the higher races. Kaiju was befuddled. However, he thought it was sensible enough, knowing that his comrades were among the peak of the humans ever produced.
From what he recalled, Faith, Lucy, and Griffin’s class was on the legendary rank, the same as him. What only lacked humans to stand at the peak of the races in the tower was innate talent–hellfire manipulation of the infernal race, light manipulation of the infernals, blessings of the God by the Angel race, curse manipulation by the witches, blood manipulation by the vampire races, berserk by the werewolves, and more.
Nevertheless, the humans could now contend against the other higher races, astounding Kaiju.
When Kaiju and Snow finished, the latter excitedly slithered to her master and exclaimed, "Master! My Ice-Poison Magic Mastery has finally ascended!"
Kaiju was supposed to be elated, but with the Emotionless skill being active, he forced a smile while saying in an indifferent tone, "Good for you, Snow. Now, let’s continue killing them."
Snow didn’t mind her master’s lack of enthusiasm for her report, for she knew he meant it. With a bright smile, she turned to the other direction, deciding to help her Teacher Lucy.
"Snow, stop," said Kaiju as soon as he sensed Snow’s intention.
"You can’t handle the curse of the witches yet. Lucy might have a way to deal with it, but you can’t. I’ll help her instead."
