Surprisingly, the first to arrive was Lucy. As soon as she saw Kaiju, she quickly greeted him and levitated forward to him. Kaiju’s heart raced and his emotion went into turmoil, so he hastily activated the Emotionless skill.
Lucy noticed the conspicuous change in his emotion and her eyebrows furrowed. She asked, "Did you activate a skill? Why?"
Kaiju could finally think straight. After all, the moment he saw Lucy, the conversation with Heforao instantly appeared on his mind. The fact that just mentioning the name Lucy caused Herforao in a sorry state made him even feel terrified in calling her name.
Kaiju shook his head. "Nothing."
Lucy stared at Kaiju in silence, but, since Kaiju’s face remained indifferent and just met her gaze, she didn’t dwell on it as she said with a bright smile, "Alright. It’s nice to see you once again."
She peeked at the serpents behind Kaiju curiously and asked, "Who are these little friends? You have tamed them?"
"Yes." Kaiju nodded and turned his body slightly, gesturing the serpents to slither forward.
Aqua and Zephyr were sizing her up curiously, while Ember’s face remained ambiguous, but he would occasionally steal a glance at Lucy and Kaiju. In an instant, he grasped something.
Lucy waved her hand with a bright smile on her face and said, "Hello."
"H-Hello." Aqua responded with a shy smile on his face. Zephyr followed suit.
Kaiju introduced them to her, "This is Aqua, Zephyr, and Ember." He forced a slight smile on his impassive face. "Obviously, even without me pointing which is which, you already know, right?"
