Gacha Player: My Luck is Multiplied 10x

Chapter 17: Ancient Beast Bloodline

Snow couldn't stand letting her master fall into danger. She knew she had to find a way to save him, at the very least, desiring to let her master be aware her presence mattered as she could be of any use. That was what Snow wanted all along, not to be only recognized as the pet but someone who could fight alongside her master.

Although, she was surprised she discerned the sudden burst of power radiated by her master, the latter's opponent was no doubt still stronger by leaps and bounds than him. Snow was worried as a result, getting anxious by each second the battle proceeded.

Now, she could not stand it. She could sense her master falling into extreme danger, sensing her kin through special ways that even her master did not possess. Her body trembled, and her body suddenly jolted forward without her thinking.

When she finally realized, she hissed – louder than before, coming deep from within her heart. It was like those singers who forgot where they were, who they were, as they only thought of singing the song they wanted to. Snow experienced such a strange feeling, causing her hiss to be different than before.

She saw it. She heard it. Her master mentioned her name as she hissed, while the serpent seemed to have been stunned as it froze in mid-air. Her master was sensible, and to cool down her anxiety, her master successfully cut a severe wound on the serpent's snake.

Even if Kaiju's blade sharpened, and with the buff of Ring of Venomous Resilience, the serpent's face was still so sturdy that he could only cut it. Nevertheless, the blade sharpened even more, causing him to attack and successfully landed a deeper cut on the other side of the serpent's face.

When the serpent landed on the ground, Kaiju took a quick scrutiny on its condition. Heaving a sigh of relief, he turned towards Snow, staring at him in deep concern. She was surrounded by feral and savage snakes, still appearing wary and only encircled her, waiting for their master's command.

Snow then stared at the serpent and saw it was twitching, attempting to move, while staring at her master with deep hatred. She could understand what it was feeling – loathed the fact that it was defeated by a human clearly weaker than him. Snow felt a sense of pride, not even feeling shameful she aided her master to win the duel.
