Chapter 13: Inventory
Feral, Savage, Corrupted... Overlord. Corrupted Rank beast posed a threat for Awakeners while Overlord Rank beast is equal to Pseudo-Rank Awakeners. Kaiju was unawakened, relying only on the recently earned skills and slightly above average attribute points to kill a Savage Rank beast... barely.
If it was not for his wit and the dull Thrall, he would not have killed it unscratched. Now, he was about to face an Overlord Rank beast?

"It's in slumber? It'll only wake up if it's entirely disturbed? What do you mean entirely? Disturbed enough for its eyes to open and solve the problem itself? So, I can still snatch some fruits. Since its underlings only have poison, I can ignore it with my Poison Resistance skill. Right? They're on the same rank as you, if even I can be fine from your poison, how about them, then? Kaiju gazed at Snow's reaction and saw she was hesitating. He did not hesitate anymore to order her.
"Alright, I know you'll be affected by an Overlord Rank beast. After all, they have the ability to compel its kind to follow them. You don't have to force yourself. I can do it by myself. Really, don't be depressed, Snow. You can still help me in the future. Don't worry about it."
Kaiju took some time to convince Snow, even had to comfort her downcast emotion since he cared about her a lot. When he finally managed to do so, he asked,
"Do you know when the fruits will be matured? Tonight? Isn't that early? I don't have enough preparations, then."
Kaiju was depressed when he received the information from Snow. He asked her if she knew, for he had an idea that Snow could understand fruits better than he did.
Kaiju checked his Luck Points and distressingly saw 50 Luck Points, which was not even enough to buy a Rare draw ticket.
"Even with a Rare ticket, it would still be through luck for me to obtain a Rare reward in the Rare draw."
