Chapter 103: Leaving the Academy
When their affairs at the academy were settled, Olivia, Angelica, and Leon could be seen at the capital's shipyard. Leon had invited the girls to accompany him without even explaining where they were going. However, they agreed without hesitation—at least for a while, they didn't have to return to the academy.
But when their eyes fell upon Leon's ship, both girls froze in astonishment, their mouths slightly agape.
"Leon, is this really your ship?" Olivia suddenly asked, unable to hide her admiration. "I don't know much about ships, but this one is several times larger than any I've ever seen before. Angie, are noble ships usually this huge?" she turned to Angelica, who also seemed stunned by the sight.
Angelica slowly shook her head, as if unable to believe her own eyes.
"No, usually ships are much smaller. Especially for someone of a mere viscount's rank. Even my family only has a few ships comparable in size to this one," she replied, still taking in the massive vessel before them.
"Wow... so that means Leon really is special!" Olivia exclaimed with excitement.
"In a way, yes," Angelica agreed with a slight nod.
Then, suddenly furrowing her brows, she asked:
"By the way, we didn't really question it before, but... where exactly are you taking us?"
Leon, noticing the sharp look she gave him, simply smiled and answered in a calm voice:
"To your father."
