Mobuseka:Leon's Adventure

Chapter 39: Super Leon?(3)

In the pitch-black darkness surrounding Leon, endless hours seemed to stretch on forever. Each of the two personalities coexisting within him was left in absolute solitude. No sound, no light—only infinite emptiness. In this strange space, they couldn't interact with one another, each feeling as though trapped in their own cage.

But then, after what felt like dozens of hours, something changed. Both of Leon's personalities suddenly found themselves face-to-face. They stood opposite one another, like reflections in a mirror.

"Oh, finally! I thought we were dead!" exclaimed the second, staring intently at the first.

"Yeah," replied the first with a grin, nodding in agreement. "I've always heard people say that after death, there's only eternal darkness. Now I understand just how horrifying that place is—and that feeling, overall."

They exchanged glances and simultaneously blurted out:

"What's going on?"

The situation was so bizarre that neither of them knew how to react. However, realizing there was no way out for now, both personalities decided to simply wait. Time crawled by at a painfully slow pace. To pass it, they began sharing stories of their experiences, thoughts, and goals. After running out of things to talk about, they started looking for ways to entertain themselves.

They started with simple games: rock-paper-scissors, staring contests, or little challenges like "loser gets a flick on the forehead." But over time, they began noticing something strange.

At first, their thoughts began to merge. Whereas before, each personality had its own ideas and perspectives, now those boundaries were disappearing. Their thoughts blended, forming a single stream of consciousness.

"What the hell is going on?" they both exclaimed simultaneously, completely baffled.

But that was only the beginning. Soon, their memories merged too. Events that only one of the Leons could recall became accessible to the other, and vice versa. The process continued until there were no differences left between them. They were no longer two personalities. Now, they were one mind. A unified Leon.
