Chapter 731: *It was a piece of cake for them*
The demons were burned by the golden particles of this powerful attack, but the effect didn’t last long, as the three black pills they took were still in effect, allowing the black particles to easily neutralize the golden particles that had just harmed them.
Kevin and Caleb could now fight against these demons without getting eaten alive by the black particles thanks to Axel’s attack, and so Elias asked Axel through the communication stone, "Can you read their minds, or are they too powerful for you to handle?"
Axel answered him right away, using a telepathic link, as he was now at the peak of his strength,"With my full powers, I can do it! But it will be tiring."
Elias just nodded and said to him, "The demon standing to the left is the more powerful one. Fight against him with Kevin and try to get as much information as you can. Tell Kevin to use his Stage 3, and before he gets back to Stage 2, do not hesitate and kill this demon."
Axel was thrilled to have gotten such a mission from Elias, so he didn’t waste time and shared their mission with Kevin. After activating his Stage 3, they both went to fight the demon Elias assigned them.
As usual, Kevin would be the one asking questions, not allowing a second of respite to this demon, and Axel would transmit to him the information he got from this demon.
Even though the demon would probably not utter a single word, it was a piece of cake for them to get some useful information from him.
As Axel and Kevin left, Elias engaged with the other demon, and this time he used his Stage 2 to kill that bastard quickly. Previously, he had only used his god power to protect himself and Caleb against the black particles, but as he didn’t want to kill them just yet, he hadn’t activated his Stage 2.
Now that Axel and Kevin could interrogate the other demon, this one didn’t need to stay alive. Besides, there was still the chameleon to interrogate after this demon.
Things were going smoothly now, as he didn’t need to tell Kevin what kind of information he needed. He was sure that his adopted son would do a perfect job, and his son-in-law was so strong that he wasn’t worried for their safety. This allowed him to focus all his attention on the demon that was still struggling to stay alive.
The demon fighting against Elias was feeling helpless. Since a golden tattoo had appeared on his forehead and a golden aura emitted from his body, the black particles couldn’t hurt him anymore, and the damage he caused was almost nonexistent.
With only death awaiting him, the demon sought to make his energy reserve explode, aiming to inflict as much damage as possible and perhaps take one or two of his enemies with him.
