Chapter 359: Painter Gao Ming
“I’m my grandmother’s target. She’ll not be led away by you.” Gao Ming, who was covered in prayers, gripped his bag. “You go hide at the side. I’ll lure her into the room, and then, you’ll run.”
Liu Yi opened the window and tied the bedsheet to the window frame. “I’ll try to see if I can get into the other rooms using other methods.”
The two Gao Mings were shocked by Liu Yi’s creativity. Before they reacted, Liu Yi already jumped out the window, holding the bedsheet. She kicked the window of the downstairs tenant. “I don’t think it’s opening.”
“Gao Ming! Come home with me!” The grandmother wailed. Her voice sounded like someone was cutting her heart with a knife. The slamming on the door was consistent as if it was going to break at any moment. The people inside the room were anxious. The corridor was extremely silent. The Gao Mings in the other rooms were waiting to see what would happen.
“That old thing is distracted. The last room should be empty now.” A tiny voice came out of a room next to the last room. The door opened silently. A thick bouquet of paint smell came out of this Room 0715. Gao Ming, in school uniform, stood at the door and looked around. His bag was stuffed with paints and brushes. His uniform was drawn with colours and absurd paintings. With a warm smile on his face, Gao Ming narrowed his eyes. He was very happy that his lips couldn’t stop twitching from joy. “We’ve really joined together! Am I Gao Ming now? Or am I Xia Yang? Haha!”
The painter Gao Ming pushed open the door. His room was different in essence from the other rooms. The distinct decorating styles were meshed together. The walls, floor and ceiling were covered in strange drawings.
“The mud figurine has sliced through Gao Ming’s past and memory. I was one of them. How can I give up this rare chance? This might be the only chance I can get to replace the real Gao Ming!” Painter Gao Ming adjusted his excitement as he turned to the last room. “The figurine is suppressing something. What other secrets are hidden in that room?”
The painter Gao Ming carried his bag and silently entered the last room. He didn’t have the issue of bravery because he had already lost his mind. The painter Gao Ming stepped through the torn talismans and raced through the living room. He looked around and made the bedroom his target. His footsteps were left on the white rice, and the bells above his head jingled as he walked underneath them. However, he didn’t hesitate and rushed towards the bedroom. “Let me see what you’re hiding!”
He pushed open the two bedrooms’ doors. Gao Ming’s bedroom was dominated by the giant ears and eyes. The bleeding heart of flesh was on the ground.
