Gao Ming walked out. He felt so much better since he didn’t see Wan Jie and the other security members. The investigators didn’t dare to stop Gao Ming and allowed him to pass.
Seeing as Gao Ming and Luo Dong’s family were about to leave, Yu Ruolong and Yu Ruohu shared a look, jumped up from the ground and followed them. When the Beast God collapsed, the shadow outside the pet company started to dissipate. Gao Ming sent Luo Dong to Li San and ensured there was no one trailing them before parting ways.
“I didn’t think you were really Gao Ming from Class 13. I knew your name was familiar.” Luo Dong stood with his family. He looked at Gao Ming with appreciation.
“Just promise me to live well. Protect yourself and your family.” Gao Ming waved and turned back. Running into Luo Dong was a happy accident. His original plan was to enter Li San Hospital. The investigation centre surrounded the hospital and made it into a taboo zone. However, with the increase in the blind man’s power, he could seamlessly enter into the night. Even the security members could not detect him, much less the regular investigators.
With the big dog’s help, Gao Ming easily sneaked into the hospital. The headquarters turned the front building into a special building covered in talismans, and the back building was on lockdown. Sensing Ah Fang’s parent’s location, Gao Ming and the big dog tore through the seal and ran in. Gao Ming returned to the back building, but everything felt so different. The black lake had been destroyed, and all the mud figurines had escaped. The place didn’t feel as eerie as before.
“All the figurines have absconded. Why is the centre protecting an empty building?” The big dog was befuddled.
“If the people from the headquarters had come here personally, they wouldn’t have given this order. Or Wan Jie could have given them the wrong information, causing this mistake.” Gao Ming walked up the stairs. Shadow bled everywhere. Everything leaked a thick scent of decay.
