Absolute Resonance

Chapter 1671: The Silent Origin Reversion Institute

A gigantic palace stood in the depths of the void. It emitted vast and majestic energy fluctuations, transforming into a strange formation that dissolved every trace of spatial turbulence around it. Deep within the palace was a bronze mask emanating a terrifying aura, causing the area around it to creak and tremble. Deep white flames flickered within its eyesockets. It was Heavenly Emperor Yin.

He was looking at the center of the hall with a burning gaze. The ancient and mysterious black coffin was emitting a flickering luster as it was surrounded by layers of formations. The coffin was radiating fluctuations of energy so powerful that even Heavenly Emperor Yin, a Divine Fruit Heavenly Emperor who stood at the peak of the world, could feel pressure bearing down upon him.

This pressure caused a fanatical look to appear within his eyes. Since ancient times, only the Sect Master, an unparalleled individual, was capable of creating this type of pressure.

Under his watchful eye, the mysterious black coffin let out a rumbling tremor, causing the entire palace to shake along with it. Even the void itself seemed to roar in unison, as though it was unable to bear its weight.

Numerous ancient runes appeared on the coffin. They were intertwined with each other, like a layer of runic chains that kept it tightly bound. One could tell at a glance that the runes contained supreme power. The coffin's movements were gradually restricted by the runes.

Suddenly, boundless fire resonant power surged out from beneath the lid, along with scintillating crystalline light. The two resonant powers, both containing the power of Authority, intertwined, grinding away at the runes atop the coffin. Under the fierce assault, the timeworn runes eventually revealed a flaw and started to dim.

Bang!

The coffin shook violently, and the entire palace fell deathly silent.

Heavenly Emperor Yin silently watched. After an unknown amount of time, the stark white flames in his eyes started to dance as he heard the sound of the coffin's lid rubbing against the edge.

His eyes were glued to the lid. The existence inside the coffin had attempted to escape its shackles for thousands of years, with no success. Today, however, there was movement and the opening had expanded by a tiny margin. Although this didn't seem significant in the grand scheme of things, Heavenly Emperor Yin's heart was bursting with joy. This represented that the perfect seal was starting to waver and show weakness. The most frightening existence in the world seemed to lay in the darkness within the coffin.
