Absolute Resonance

As Li Luo's foot heavily stepped on the Enchanting Fox King's face, everyone from the Xia Kingdom on the walls were watching this. The terrifying implications of this caused their minds to turn blank. Whether it was the plotting First Princess, or the composed Vice principal Su Xin, or the calm Qin Zhenjiang, all of their usual emotions were now thrown out the window.

They were previously in great despair and terror due to the sheer number of Other Kings but this sight was even more shocking than that! Even Yu Hongxi with her unique background as the Xia Kingdom's Golden Dragon Bank President couldn't help but to be lost in her own thoughts. As she glanced at the large pit that was created by the fight, she could see the shadow of Li Taixuan in that young figure which gave off a majestic aura. That said, when compared to Li Taixuan, Li Luo seemed much more ferocious. A thoughtful look appeared on Yu Hongxi. This brat Li Luo was indeed a dragon amongst men. With his talent and foundation, it would be difficult to find anyone who would be his match within the Heavenly Emperor powers in the inner divine continent. It was no wonder why her daughter was so attracted to him. "Damn it all! He's so cool I could cry!" Yu Lang struck his chest in frustration as he stamped his feet. The actions of his friend shocked him so much that his eyeballs were popping out of his socket. He was riddled with all sorts of complicated feelings as he screamed in excitement. "I can't take it! Meanwhile Bai Doudou who was still beside him, could no longer take his crap. She gritted her teeth angrily as she kicked him from behind as her face turned beet red, "Shut up!"

Yu Lang could only cover his mouth in pain as he stopped his screaming and howling.

Bai Doudou wanted to continue yelling at him but she noticed the sparkling tears pooling up in the fellows eyes and she swallowed her words. She knew that he was simply overstimulated by the unbelievable scene before him and could only vent his emotions in such an exaggerated way. After all, this perilous disaster had brought them to the brink of death multiple times over these years, causing an immense amount of pressure to build up on everyone present. Yu Lang as the Devil Hunting Squad's commander toed the line between life and death whenever he led his team. Every mission they took on would inevitably be filled with casualties and although he seemed casual and lackadaisical in his daily life, Bai Doudou as someone who was always beside him knew of his inner struggles. He often blamed himself for being powerless and felt that it was his lack of ability that caused his squadmates' deaths. Many of the tombstones in the cemetery behind Astral Sage College were erected by Yu Lang himself as they were all once his squadmates.

It was because he had gone through so much pain and suffering that the hope that Li Luo represented caused him to lose control.

Bai Doudou sighed in her heart as she held Yu Lang's rough hands, no longer saying anything but quietly accompanying him. Yu Lang, we've managed to survive the most difficult of times and now things can only go up from here. ...
