Chapter 1558: Did We Frighten You?
"Damn it! Two eighth-grade True Devils?!" Within the depths of a forest, Li Foluo's steely green expression of fury was directed towards a pitch-black abyss. Two blood-red monsters were crawling out, looking as though they had been skinned. The stench of blood emanating from them was almost nauseating. What struck them with despair was that the two skinless blood-red Others were eighth-grade True Devils! Meanwhile, there were only a few dozen people by Li Foluo's side.
This was a squad consisting of the Dragon's Blood and Dragon's Fang Guardians' most exceptional elites.
Li Foluo was leading the Dragon's Fang Guardians alongside Dragon Fang Envoy Luo Jiang and Grand Commander Xia Yu. Li Jingtao and Li Fengyi were also within the group.
The Dragon's Blood Guardians was led by Guardian General Li Zhihuo, Dragon's Blood Envoy Yuan Tianzhao, and Grand Commander Li Hongque. Li Hongli and Li Qingfeng's familiar faces could also be seen with the group. Additionally, even Inspector Li Zhiqiu was present!
"Li Zhihuo you bastard! It's your greed and recklessness that led us to be trapped here!" Li Foluo berated loudly. Their original mission was to cleanse this region of Others, but Li Zhiqiu and Li Zhihuo had wished to gain greater credit, so they had taken the lead to pursue some fleeing Others and ended up in this location. Thinking back, that was clearly a trap laid by these creatures!
The strongest amongst them was Li Zhiqiu, an upper seventh-grade Duke. Li Foluo and Li Zhihuo had gradually advanced over the past two years, finally reaching the upper sixth-grade. However, their lineup was completely unable to deal with two eighth-grade True Devils!
Li Zhiqiu's expression was pale and blood leaked from the corner of his mouth. He had rushed in headfirst and then suffered an ambush from the True Devils. Fortunately, he had largely managed to avoid the attack at the last moment, but he had suffered serious injuries as a result.

"Damn it!" Li Foluo tightly gripped his halberd. He understood that discussing further was useless, and he glanced at the panicked Luo Jiang and Xia Yu before gritting his teeth and giving a command.
