Chapter 1496: Violet Thunder Dragon
A horde of golden Thunder Beasts slowly emerged from the forest. The golden thunder energy on their bodies danced wildly, giving off violent fluctuations that caused the air to distort. Further away, there was the silhouette of an even larger Thunder Beast! The dangerous aura it emanated caused the experts present to turn pale.
While everyone was petrified by the mighty auras of the Thunder Beasts, Zhou Jun beckoned with his hand and his thunder trident appeared. Above his head, eight majestic Duke Bergfrieds began to devour worldly natural energy and caused his aura to strengthen. He calmly swept his gaze across the crowd, lingering briefly on Li Luo. He was surprised by the fact that the latter had chosen Thunder Finger Peak. After all, while he had a thunder resonance, it was only a secondary one.
"Did he rush here with the intention of dealing with me? Is he planning to take action against me because of what I did to Jiang Qing'e during the Domain Traversal Battles?" Zhou Jun thought to himself as his eyes narrowed. Even so, he didn't really fear him. Li Luo had reached the Third Transcendent Duke Stage, but he had improved as well. If he really wanted to fight, Li Luo didn't have any advantage over him. The way he saw it, the only thing he had to be wary about was Li Luo simultaneously activating his two upper Destiny-grade Duke Arts to create an incredible killing blow.
"Let's go!" Zhou Jun didn't bother with any more thoughts and gave a low roar before shooting forward. The trident in his hand transformed into a bolt of thunder which then flashed through the sky, crashing into a Thunder Beast.
Bang!
The heavens and earth shook and the sixth-grade Duke equivalent Thunder Beast was immediately smashed into a pool of golden thunder energy.
Zhou Jun waved his hand and the trident returned to him, at the same time resolving the attacks from other Thunder Beasts who had begun to spew out golden thunderbreath. Above him, the thunder runes on his eight Duke Bergfrieds lit up brightly.
Divine Mist that resembled a sea of liquid lightning poured out, forming an array of countless thunder spears that then shot outwards, destroying the Thunder Beasts with devastating force.
In just a few short moments, Zhou Jun had carved a path through the Thunder Beasts with his squad swiftly following him.
