"Don't you think that just obtaining a single Heavenly Domain is too little for all of us?" Li Luo asked with a sigh.
Guo Jiufeng smiled. "Haha... is Mentor Li Luo suggesting that the East Divine Continent's sage colleges are lacking ability and are only able to hold on to a single Heavenly Domain?"
The other squads similarly gave helpless smiles. A single Heavenly Domain could only produce grains of Celestial Mirror Sand at most twenty. Meanwhile, there were thirty-seven sage colleges amongst them. On top of that, each squad usually had around ten individuals and thus, they naturally couldn't have their fill.
"Mentor Li Luo is truly an unparalleled prodigy. He thus has much greater aspirations than us old timers. I suppose being from the East Divine Continent has disadvantaged you." Vice Principal Chen Chi understood where he was coming from. Even if Li Luo were in a squad from an inner divine continent, he would likely be able to hold onto a main seat as well.
"There isn't much choice. The East Divine Continent's strength amongst the six outer divine continents isn’t at the absolute bottom, but it's still in the bottom three. The Domain Traversal Battles are cruel, and even being able to obtain a single Heavenly Domain is considered a passing result."
"You mean there are people who are even worse?" Li Luo was taken aback by this.
"Well, during every Domain Traversal Battle, there is always an outer divine continent that fails to obtain a single Heavenly Domain," Guo Jiufeng explained.
The corners of Li Luo's lips twitched and couldn't help but ask, "How are the Domain Traversal Battles conducted?"
"The six outer divine continents first draw lots. Three are seeded into the winners’ bracket and the other three in the losers’ bracket. The winners will then contest over six Heavenly Domains, while the losers will only fight over two," Guo Jiufeng explained.
