That said, the Bloodline of Heavenly Emperor Li was not particularly interested in this arrangement, mainly because the Five Guardian Armies provided opportunities for up and coming cultivators.
The group in front of them seemed to have come from a particular power within the Mythical Spirit Divine Continent. Furthermore, Chi Chan seemed to be from that power as well.
Li Luo glared at the leading man. The fellow was large and well-built, with a rather handsome face. Unfortunately, his gaze was sinister and one could easily tell that he was not a good person with a single glance. Meanwhile, the strong undulations of resonant power he exuded indicated that he wasn't a weakling.
"Scram!" Disgust filled Chi Chan’s eyes as she icily glared at the familiar visage. Her voice was even more chilly than usual, as though the world would turn to ice upon her command.
The fact that he was capable of provoking Chi Chan despite her intellectual and calm demeanor indicated just how vile this person was.
When the man heard those words, a look of anger flashed through his eyes and he smiled furiously. "Chi Chan, you seem to have lost your manners after gallivanting in the wild for so many years. So be it. I'll bring you back and let you know what it means to obey."
After saying those words, he directly reached out with his hands like a talon, wrapped in blackish-green smog. It generated a harsh sound. The void was ripped apart as his fingers flew forward. He was attempting to grab Chi Chan's slender and fair neck.
