Absolute Resonance

Li Luo spent over ten days travelling to the Heavenly Origin Ancient College. The treatment he received upon his arrival was completely different from before. He was recognized by students the moment he showed himself, and they led him in with great enthusiasm, eliminating some of the unnecessary procedures. Li Luo's exceptional performance at the Fifth Minor Earthly Branch Realm mission had not only saved countless students, but had also caused their reputation to flourish.

Under the lead of these students, Li Luo made arrangements for Ox Biaobiao and Li Rouyun before heading towards the Gilded Palace that was the nexus of the college. There he met many familiar faces, including Vice Principal Lan Lingzi. She was still dressed in her azure jade armor and her golden combat boots. Her eyebrows were shaped like swords and her long hair was pinned up, held in place by a crown weaved of blue grass, giving off a heroic temperament. It was currently Lan Lingzi's turn to watch over the Heavenly Origin Ancient College, whereas Vice Principal Wu Yu had brought squads out to complete certain missions. She was immersed in many documents, settling all of the complicated matters related to the school. Li Luo and Li Hongyou did not rush her, instead waiting at the side quietly.

A while later, Lan Lingzi finally raised her head, and her youthful face showed a smidge of a smile. "It's been a while since we met, Li Luo, and you've now become renowned throughout the Heavenly Origin Divine Continent."

Li Luo smiled. "Those were just minor occurrences. How could they possibly be worth your notice, Vice Principal Lan Lingzi?"

"The developments in the World's End River Region are nothing minor. Also, even Li Jingzhe..." At this point, she was at a slight loss for words as she looked at Li Luo apologetically. Li Luo revealed the appropriate amount of pain and sorrow in his expression despite knowing otherwise. Lan Lingzi then hurriedly changed the subject. "Now that you're back, I assume it's because of the Celestial Mirror Pagoda?"

Li Luo nodded and answered, "The Celestial Mirror Pagoda is famous throughout the ten divine continents and is a huge opportunity. I am naturally greedy and would like to take part in it. As a member of the Academic Federation, am I still qualified to?"

She smiled. "All of the Heavenly Emperor powers occasionally dispatch their talented youths to the Academic Federation to cultivate, mostly because they wish to give them the opportunity to explore the Celestial Mirror Pagoda. You've cultivated for a period of time in the Astral Sage College and even obtained the Violet Resonant Tree Brooch, so you are definitely qualified. However, the question now is how you wish to participate, and with which identity."

Li Luo paused. "What do you mean?"

"You've contributed significantly during the Fifth Minor Earthly Branch Realm mission, and the Hallowed Coruscation Ancient College's Third School Master and I have reserved a slot for you. Thus, if you wish, you can enter the Celestial Mirror Pagoda as a member of the Heavenly Origin Ancient College," Lan Lingzi explained.
