Qi Lei stood in the corridor and watched her disappear around the corner. He then retracted his gaze and walked down the stairs.
After turning through the winding corridor, Qi Lei arrived at the pavilion he saw outside Dongfang Liuyun’s bedroom balcony.
The pavilion was clean and tidy. The stone tables and chairs were covered with a thick blanket. There were also some petals and fallen leaves at the bottom of the stairs in front of the pavilion. It looked very quiet.
“This pavilion was designed by Grandfather personally. Also, the fence here was built by Grandfather himself. Doesn’t it look good?”
Qi Lei had just walked up the stairs when a familiar voice suddenly came from behind him.
Qi Lei turned his head and saw Dongfang Rou’er standing elegantly on the cement path not far below. Her soft white wool gown made her skin look even fairer and more alluring. At this moment, there was a smile on her face.
