The next morning, Qin Su got up very early. After a simple breakfast, she also went out.
As expected, Qin Yi did not come back. He probably really did stay in the Military District last night. Every time they quarreled, it was the same way. Qin Su was used to it.
She looked through all the information in her office and roughly understood the whole situation of the accident. However, by the time she finished organizing it, it was already noon. After having lunch in the Military District, she immediately set off for the city.
Qin Su’s troop company base was quite far from the city. Even if she did not get stuck in a traffic jam, it would still take her nearly two hours to drive there.
Qin Su was not too familiar with City Z. She grew up in the military compound and went to a Military Management School. Therefore, Qin Su was not very familiar with City Z. She only roughly know a few important places, mainly where the government offices were at.
When the car entered the city, it was already past two o’clock in the afternoon. The sun in the sky was scorching, and the streets on both sides were full of people holding umbrellas as they walked. The air was very hot, and there was no wind at all.
Qin Su followed the navigation on her phone as she drove ahead. After crossing a few broad streets and roads, they finally entered the city’s northern district.
