“First Master, President Qi has departed. He did go to the Grand Lake Villa and had his dinner there last night,” Morrison reported to Qi Feng, who was sitting on the office chair, resting with his eyes closed.
Qi Feng’s expression was very apathetic as if this news had lost its magic to stir the waves in his heart. He waved his hand without even opening his eyes and spoke in a deep voice, “You figure that out yourself. No matter what, the shareholders’ meeting must be convened as soon as possible.”
“Yes, First Master! In fact, we don’t have to be so pessimistic, it’ll be okay.” Staring at Qi Feng’s long face, Morrison could not help but suggest.
“Pessimistic? Me? I won’t lose to anybody else, except myself.” Qi Feng smirked while asserting. And he actually managed to promote Qi Lei up the line in order to limit my movements. He’s quite an unfathomable one.”
“Mu Yuchen is a typical outstanding representative of the business world. It won’t do us any good if we’ve provoked him. However, we’ve had the tiger by its tail. I’m afraid that…”
“Is that so?” Morrison had not finished his sentence when Qi Feng had indifferently cut him off. Morrison raised his head and gazed at him, but Qi Feng did not continue his sentence. He thought about it and held himself back from asking more .
“Off you go. I want to be alone.” Qi Feng did not seem to want to continue the conversation anymore and closed his eyes once again…
