su chen went on his way soon after that. he arrived at mu yuchen’s maple residence as quickly as he could.
su chen usually drove fast anyway, so it took him less than an hour to reach maple residence since there was no traffic jam at this time.
mu yuchen grabbed some wine after he hung up on the call. then, he went to the swimming pool in the backyard. su chen noticed two wine glasses and a bottle of wine on the table beside the pool when he arrived.
when su chen went closer, he noticed movements in the pool.

mu yuchen came out of the water and swam towards his direction.
“you got here pretty quickly. want to have a round?” mu yuchen grabbed a towel and dried his hair before covering himself with a shower robe.
su chen casually opened the wine bottle and poured glasses for the both of them. he took a sip and said, “i’m good. i’m surprised that you’re fine to swim in such cold temperatures. plus, you still look as great as when you were in the army!”
mu yuchen grabbed the glass and emptied it. “just need to freshen myself up. it’s cold outside. let’s talk in the house.”
