There were not many things to be done at the office and there was no meeting in the morning as well, so Xi Xiaye decided to bring Mu Xiaocheng along with Aunt Fang so that the latter could help her to take care of the toddler.
It was already past 10 a.m. when Xi Xiaye arrived. Her current office was previously Shen Yue’s office, and it became hers after a little bit of renovation.
It was a huge office. The floor was decorated with a thick, clean carpet, allowing Mu Xiaocheng to crawl around everywhere just like in Mu Yuchen’s office.
Aunt Fang waited in the resting lounge. She would only come over when Xi Xiaye summoned her.
It was Xiao Mei’s first time seeing Xi Xiaye bring her son over. She was tempted to play with Mu Xiaocheng since he looked so cute and handsome.
However, Mu Xiaocheng seemed a little shy. He quickly ran and fled to Xi Xiaye when Xiao Mei approached him. He grabbed Xi Xiaye’s leg and slowly stood up, making Xiao Mei smile. “CEO Xi, Young Master is pretty smart. It’s obvious to see that he’s Chairman Mu’s son. He looks just like him, but his eyes look like yours!”
“He does look like Chairman Mu, but I wonder who his naughty nature resembles. His father can barely handle him. Luckily, he’s not a crybaby.”
Xi Xiaye smiled as she put down her documents and gently lifted Mu Xiaocheng to put him on top of her lap. Mu Xiaocheng chuckled a little before wrapping his arms around her neck.
“Naughty kids often achieve great things. I’m sure Young Master will be as successful as Chairman Mu in the future!”
