Upon hearing that, Mu Yuchen’s eyes underneath the sunglasses only darkened, but he did not answer him.

I’m sure you wouldn’t be willing to leave things at that,” Gu Qiwu said softly as he turned to look silently at Mu Yuchen’s face. After a while, he averted his gaze and looked down at the river that slowly flowed past them. He sighed. “Ah Chen, you’re a great person. You’ve got tricks up your sleeves and you’re impressive. Many times, I wished for you to become my ideal son-in-law. Shasha’s great. She’s excellent in many aspects. I don’t understand why you didn’t fancy her or fall in love with her?
