Chapter 62: Guest
Back inside the villa, it didn’t take long before a chef came to inform them that lunch was ready.
Although Oliver and Ivy had already eaten at the university cafeteria, they had no problem eating again.
As it turned out, this villa had five chefs preparing luxurious dishes.
When they arrived in the dining room, Oliver saw that the large dining table was filled with all kinds of food.
Even a luxury restaurant or hotel might struggle to provide such a lavish spread for a single guest.
They even served aged wines with indescribably rich flavors.
However, Oliver couldn’t fully enjoy the meal because Edward kept trying to talk to him.
Fortunately, the man at least gave him five bottles to take home.
In the end, he and Ivy left with a card Rebecca had given them—mostly because Edward insisted they take it.
They were flown back to the city in the same helicopter, with the same pilot as before.
Edward and Rebecca watched them leave from the backyard until the helicopter was out of sight.
"Edward, did you intentionally not tell me from the start that you brought home a Cultivator and a talented Awakener? I was fooled because lately you’ve been spending time with so many country folk that I assumed you brought home another one of them," Rebecca said, sounding annoyed.
