Chapter 59: Personality
Oliver instantly formed a bad impression of the woman named Rebecca.
However, just when he thought he might scold her if she said anything rude again, the woman suddenly showed an expression as if she had made a grave mistake, right after being stunned for a moment.
She even stood up right away.
"Are you serious, Edward?" she asked.
"You know the ability of my left eye—there’s no doubt at all," Edward replied, frowning, clearly uncomfortable with how quickly Rebecca’s attitude changed, even though he did want her to be polite to Oliver and Ivy.
"They must be truly amazing, then," Rebecca said, now looking at Oliver and Ivy more seriously as she walked toward them and extended her hand for a handshake.
"Rebecca Rothschild," she said to them with a smile, while they could not have been more surprised.
"Oliver Whitemoon!"
"Ivy Wilson!"
They had no choice but to state their names directly, as she had introduced herself.
However, they didn’t respond to her handshake.
After calling them "hillbillies," how could their opinion of her change so quickly?
