Chapter 55: Register
Alex had more close friends at the school than Oliver did.
He spread the news easily. In no time, students began to gather on the football field behind the school—including first- and second-year students who hadn’t attempted to Awaken yet, and even newly enrolled students.
Some teachers even showed up.
As Oliver walked in front of them, he no longer felt like just another student. It felt like he’d become a celebrity.
He was followed by Alex, who even released his aura to show that he had successfully become a Cultivator too.
But when Oliver released his own aura, Alex’s was instantly overshadowed.
Oliver’s aura was much wider, generating gusts of wind that blew everyone’s hair back.
"My friends," Oliver said with a smile.
Speaking in front of a crowd turned out to be easier than he expected—probably thanks to the confidence he now carried.
"I know you’re all looking for guidance, but even though I’ve reached the Fifth Stage of the Spiritual Master Realm, guidance isn’t something a Cultivator at my level can provide."
When he mentioned his current level, even Alex—who already knew a bit about Oliver’s cultivation—was stunned. After all, he had only recently advanced to the Fourth Stage after returning with Ivy. How had he already advanced again?
"Fifth Stage? Are you serious? You’ve already reached the Fifth Stage?" Some students couldn’t help but blurt out.
