A Cultivator in the World Dominated By Awakeners

Chapter 34: Fishing

"Damn you!" Alex cursed, unable to hide his jealousy.

"Anyway, my dad’s asking when you can work again. There are a lot of cars that need fixing at his garage. I don’t know what to tell him. Are you still willing to work after reaching the Third Stage of Cultivation?" Alex continued.

"I just advanced again. I’m now at the Fourth Stage, so of course I won’t be doing labor work anymore," Oliver replied.

"You?" Alex nearly stumbled at the revelation.

"I’d rather go fishing than work as a laborer," Oliver added before walking away.

Alex quickly followed behind him.

"You want to go fishing?" he asked, confused.

"Yeah, I want to relax. I think fishing is the best option. Maybe I’ll get some inspiration to improve my understanding," Oliver answered.

It was his hobby, and he knew fishing brought a unique sense of joy—maybe even more than many other things.

Though he didn’t bring his rod, he planned to buy a new one—something truly durable so he could catch bigger fish this time.

This wasn’t like before when he only went after the small ones.

Coincidentally, the city had a large river running through it, known for its abundant fish due to well-maintained habitats. Many fish from the Chaotic World had even been released into it—types that wouldn’t evolve into monsters.
