Chapter 29: Surprised
Alex’s shock didn’t stop there. He even stood up involuntarily.
"You? You?" he said, pointing at Oliver, who sat beside him.
"Sit down!"
Oliver forcefully pulled his hand so he would sit again, not wanting to cause a scene over this.
Fortunately, Alex managed to calm down, grasping the situation quickly.
"Oliver, how did you get this strong? Have you been cultivating for a long time?" he asked.
Of course, it was no secret that Oliver had been cultivating even before he attempted to Awaken, which had made Dom furious.
But who knew—maybe he had started cultivating even long before that.
Alex suspected as much, because Oliver’s current cultivation was far too advanced.
"Of course not," Oliver replied. "My talent is just way beyond what you imagined. I’ve even become a disciple of the Head of the Cultivator Association of Manchester."
"What?" Alex was shocked again.
"You mean Lady Evylin Windsor?" he asked, lowering his voice this time.
