Chapter 26: Knife
Oliver was surprised by the man’s action of giving him another gift.
It seemed he was the type of person—among the Awakeners—who genuinely liked helping others.
What he threw to him was a small, crescent-shaped knife, transparent like glass, but actually made from a material even harder than iron.
It was light, yet just looking at it gave Oliver the sensation of a blade resting against his neck—the sharpness was palpable.

A notification from his Observation Ring popped up, shocking him even more.
Tier 2 weapons were typically split into two levels—standard and plus.
The latter sat at the very peak of Tier 2 and could overpower standard Tier 2 weapons in combat.
Many Awakeners above Level 21 and Cultivators in the Earth Master Realm still used Tier 2+ weapons until they could obtain a Tier 3 one.
In other words, even for them, this weapon was powerful enough to match their strength.
For Awakeners below Level 20 and Cultivators in the Spiritual Master Realm, Tier 2+ weapons were practically the strongest available.
He hadn’t expected this man to give him something so valuable. After all, weapons like this fetched extremely high prices.
