While the two crewmates came to the conclusion that Leonard had enjoyed a warm night with a gorgeous woman, they had no idea the gorgeous woman was on the verge of a mental collapse.
"You did that on purpose, didn’t you?" Mirelle released her hand from Leonard’s grip and asked coolly.
"Did what on purpose?" In response, he feigned ignorance and flashed a cheeky smile.
"Those words that you uttered in front of the crewmates. The lovely fragrance filling up your chamber."
"Ah, you mean giving you a newfound status on the ship and making everyone envious of my situation?"
"Who wants that kind of newfound status?" Mirelle hissed and clenched her fist.
It was one thing to moan for so long, but another thing when she realized her moaning was unheard by anyone. Hence, she had thought she wouldn’t need to lower herself to pretend to be his lover anymore.
Yet who could have imagined Leonard still went on to provoke others into mistaking her identity and status?
