Chapter Three Hundred-Sixty-Six – Short-Tempered
"Frida?" Princess Laurel stood before the cave. There was no response and it bothered her. "It’s Princess Laurel. I’d like to speak to you about something."
Frida was supposed to be with Sir Darren but this cave also seemed like a likely spot she’d stay at since Sir Darren mentioned that he didn’t know how whereabouts.
She carefully walked in, looking at the sides to see if it was about to collapse. She got to the middle and found a big space that reeked of dead bodies.
If this was the place Frida set a trap for the Lead Warrior, then those bodied could be the rogues that got killed
"Nothing to worry about then. She’s still safe—" Laurel glanced at an opening. What was he doing at this place?
She thought of running back but just as she caught his scent, he probably caught hers too.
She looked around the cave and noticed a sword that resembled the ones the Young Beta had. It was rusty with a fresh stain of blood. Frida had definitely been here.
Laurel held the sword to her chest and sheathed it with a scabbard she saw lying around. "Prince Sorren? I wonder what you are doing here—"
"Can I ask you the same—"
