Sir Darren had heard of the disturbing news. King Asher had trapped the Princess at his palace and refused to let go. She had been there for more than a week already.
He couldn’t think of any reason the King would do this apart from exerting frustration on the werewolf Princess.
He knew about Damancas plan to ruin the King’s lab and it must’ve succeeded since he used Laurel to vent.
But then, the Princess had gone with her Knight, Zeldris and Grand Witch Thales so Darren could sleep well.
Recently, his warrior even told him that Prince Sorren had been spotted in a carriage, heading towards High Moon.
Darren felt grateful that they valued the Princess’, even if the value was one likened to that of a capable slave.
"Sir Darren, there’s trouble." The old man rushed into Darren’s study. "Alice said that a lycan with magic is here."
Darren’s eyes popped and he dropped his cup of tea and sprinted out of the study. A bred lycan from Lunaria shouldn’t be a cause of alarm, should it?
