Laurel slept with one eye closed and another half opened, this had been going on and it had reached the fourth day since she arrived in the King’s palace.
She couldn’t help but feel she now played cat and mouse with the King as she tried to escape his palace. That Asher really took her for a joke.
In that case, she came up with her dumbest but smartest plan yet – to use him to train herself!
She planned to train but she couldn’t go back to Green Valleys, so training here in her pathetic condition remained as the only option.
If by any one in a thousand year miracle, she’s able to defeat the King in a one on one battle and get her freedom as a reward, then so be it.
Till then, she had ordered his Beta and his maidens to return to Green Valleys to handle other affairs. She will conquer this King like she had done other lycans.

"Do you think you ever defeated Sorren?" Elma teased. "I tell you, he always let you win. So can you win now?"
Laurel had a determined smirk on her face. She fastened the boots to her legs and made a little jump in it. "I’d win."
She stretched the shorts that Nether had given her and inspected the back. It didn’t cling to her butt but its design was straight and the material looked... sexy.
