The fiery barrier kept on burning between them.
Asher watched it intently in fascination. When Slime had narrated the barrier the little girl had striked him with, he mentioned how he couldn’t see it.
Nene had agreed as it was the same case for the bred lycan that defeated the Fang leader.
So now, Asher guessed that the only reason he could see this barrier was because of the fire mixed with it. Burning brilliantly and warning them to stay back.
"So your trump card was a defensive magic!" Asher yelled out to Thales, behind the fiery barrier. "Not as impressive as I thought!"
"I don’t care to impress you, King Asher."
Asher nodded. Of course, he hated him.
With the knowledge he had magic, Asher guessed he might be a bred lycan of Lunaria. It’d be easy for a bred lycan to sneak in here, a kingdom of Lycans.
But how could such an identity be living in the Beta’s district without the Beta realizing. He was too accommodating for his own good.
"This means you are a foreigner in this place. A spy? I have even more reasons to make sure I kill you." Asher’s claws left their place.
