Zeldris could see, and that would be everyone’s problem.
Laurel flung her hair back and patted her clothes to straighten it.
She couldn’t wait till that knight of hers gets over being able to see colors. It was as if it was his vocal cord that got healed, not his eyes.
She linked him in mind link. "Zeldris, stop whatever you’re doing and meet me at the hall. And now, please."
"I’m taking a bath. Should I come as I am—"
She disconnected the link and rubbed her temples. She should inflict something of a permanent wound on that mouth of his.
She connected to Valkyrie. "Have you really gotten the permit to visit High Mountains? I didn’t think the Prince Sorren will give you so fast."
There was no reply even if she was sure that she connected. "Valkyrie? Are you feeling okay?"
"I’m sorry but it seems Prince Sorren didn’t give us the permission to visit High Mountains." Valkyrie replied in a low tone. "I’m sorry for raising your hopes high."
Laurel stopped walking, then lightly tapped her heeled shoe on the marble floor. "He didn’t permit, huh? Okay, it’s fine. Thank you for the feedback."
She disconnected. Sorren always played games when it came to her so she wasn’t very surprised. She asked for a notice to be sent to High Mountains before going.
