Chapter Hundred-Fifty-Nine – Surprise
Laurel gulped down the pills and took water to go down with it. Pills were becoming her daily routine since she had to oversee her pack.
They were a lot of things to work on and they all fell on her feeble shoulders but she didn’t want to complain.
It sort of made her excited, everyday, looking forward to the next challenge the pack will face and how she’d handle it.
They had been no more allies reaching out since Damancas and Rolling Stones. Laurel was sure they were more out there but they stayed away, for obvious reasons.
They had lycan leader and no werewolf pack wanted to deal with lycans, unless they needed to.
It also made Laurel realize that importation will be hard as many packs wouldn’t want to send messengers to drop goods at Green Valleys which had Lycans.
Laurel understood the reason the women acted brash that day, it was because having lycans as neighbors will greatly affect how other werewolf packs associated with it.
But she knew there’s nothing she could do even if she thought for years. She’d rather be plan and strategize as the Princess. And hope no drama will come her way.
She gulped down water again, finalizing those thoughts.
Her room door opened slightly. "Princess..."
She looked at Mira, then back at the pills which she hid in a drawer. "Come in, baby. Oh, have you seen Matt recently?"
