Chapter Hundred-Fifty-Five – The notice
Lead Warrior Baxter trudged out of the princess’s quarters with fallen shoulders. What they had belonged to someone else. It had been all conquered.
His hands clenched by his side. He knew it was a revenge the Alpha came for. The ones who rendered Black Claws Kingdom useless had been their King.
Still, he couldn’t help but feel bad for the victims, those that were like him and Sigma. War wasn’t a good thing.
He looked ahead and didn’t find the young Beta training. Such a young boy had to live with his parents being killed by the one who governed his pack. It suffocated.
"I’d have been a rebel if that were me." Baxter muttered.
If the Alpha King had taken over their Kingdom like this, many Lycans wouldn’t sit with it.
A tired sigh left Baxter. What happened had happened.
"Lead Warrior Baxter!"
He froze, then looked up meeting her brown ones. He looked away immediately, strangely feeling guilty.
Valkyrie got to him and stretched forth a letter. "It came for the lead warrior, but not me. It’s from High Moon Kingdom so it’s probably for you."
Sigma paused his steps when he heard High Moon Kingdom, he retraced his steps back to Baxter.
