Chapter 153: Sword Training
Chapter Hundred-Fifty-Three – Sword Training
It was an awfully pleasant surprise. Baxter bit his lower lips, but would occasionally steal glances at his cousin, drafting a list for the warriors.
"You need quite a lot of swords." Sigma pointed out with a sigh. "Did the General confirm that he can teach sword training?"
Baxter nodded obediently. "He did. Also, in my last fight with the rogues, I realized that the warriors of Black Claws aren’t really good at it yet."
Sigma agreed. Why use sword when you had claws and a fist? The only reason the Alpha kept swords were because he was infiltrating Green Valleys.
The officials at Green Valleys were proficient in sword training and perhaps even the rogues around.
"Fifty should be enough then. We’re not plucking them from trees." Sigma crossed the ’eighty’ that was listed.
Baxter smiled. That’s okay. The warriors interested were only forty and he wanted to give them two each but it’s fine if there’s enough to go round, plus ten extra.
Still, Baxter couldn’t help but be all smiles. He knew his cousin was trained by Prince Sorren but he had no idea why. He had assumed he got adopted to the royal family.
He guessed the Prince got fond of his adorable little cousin, but before Sigma now, and realizing he’s the Delta to Black Claws, Baxter couldn’t help but smile foolishly.
He didn’t suspect why he had been close to Cade and the Alpha but now he knew.
Sigma exhaled, when he was done writing the quantity of armory. This should be Cade’s job but got pushed to him. "It’s all done. Submit it to the Alpha yourself."
