Chapter 83: The Werewolfess
Chapter Eighty-Three – The Werewolfess
"A beaten-up werewolf? Do you know what it means?"
Laurel frowned at Sorren. Wasn’t it obvious they needed to protect the girl? Or was there anything more to it?
When she threw up all her food, she had noticed the girl looking at her. She was in so much pain with the way she limped towards her.
And being werewolf as well, even if the girl couldn’t sense it, Laurel wanted to protect her.
"She was treated like that because she’s werewolf, right?" Laurel asked. That’d be how she’d be treated if she wasn’t wearing the charm. Which was really sad.
"It’s more complicated than that." Sorren replied, he turned to the girl. "She’s the Lycan Prince’s property."
Property? Laurel grew livid. "Sorren, you didn’t just—"
"I mean," Sorren sighed. "The Prince kidnaps werewolves and do some stuff to them. She might be a victim."
The girl whimpered as if reminded of her ordeal, Laurel adjusted the shawl on her body. "I won’t let it continue."
"His hatred runs deep." Sorren added. "He wants to totally eradicate werewolves. Can you do anything to stop him?"
Laurel’s determined expression faded slightly. How could she do something to stop a Lycan Prince from killing she and her kind?
